President’s Economy Prize for Watt Company |

Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski awarded the President’s Economy Prize in Poznan for Watt Company in the "Green Economy" category. The Polish President's Economic Prize is a prize of honor.
Prizes were awarded to four best Polish companies, chosen among 13 companies nominated by the Chapter President's Economic Prize. Except for Watt Company prizes received: Solaris Bus & Coach (in the “Innovation” category), Novol Company ("Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility"), the Fakro group ("Presence on the Global Market"). The awards ceremony was held in Poznan during the gala of 90th anniversary of the International Fair.
- I am pleased and I thank you that on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Poznan International Fair I can reactivate the President's Prize in the economy branch. Because there is a next big task for us: to strengthen the ethos of modern patriotism, the work ethos. I am glad that I can reactivate the prize, which is to restore the prestige of enterprising people, those who build the economic future of our country – said the president Bronislaw Komorowski during the ceremony.
The President's Economic Prize is a prestigious economic honorable mention, which is a form of honor and promote the best Polish companies and research institutions, running a business in the sphere of market production. It was established in 1998 by President Aleksander Kwasniewski, and it was awarded till 2005. President Komorowski decided to continue awarding from 2011.
Organizers of the event emphasize that the President's Economic Prize is a way of thanks and honor for companies and research teams, contributing to the economic development of the country and building the prestige and the positive image of the Polish economy.
